Change #1: Each card has a red half and a green half with a thing on the red side and an adjective on the other side. Basically, there are still red cards and green cards, they are just combined onto one card. And instead of the "judge" drawing a green card from the draw pile, they get to pick a green card from their hand.
Change #2: The judge not only picks the best card, but they also pick the worst. The person who played the best card gets to keep the green card as their "point marker" (just like in the regular game), but the person who played the worst card has to spin the green apple spinner that comes with the game. Depending on what the spinner lands on, that person will either have to give up one of their cards, isn't allowed to talk on their next turn, has to opportunity to pass the green apple spinner to someone else to spin, have to play their red card before the next green card is played or they get to play two red cards on their next turn.
All in all, this game is just like Apples to Apples, but with a boost. It's really cool. And if you hate the twist, it's simple to play the game exactly like the normal version. If you don't own an Apples to Apples game, I recommend this one for sure. And if you already own an Apples to Apples game, consider upgrading.
