Poison Ivy Mysteries

This week's recommendation is Poison Ivy Mysteries. It is an interactive dinner theater and murder mystery. Ryan and I have been a couple of times and it is a lot of fun. You eat dinner, watch a musical show, a "murder" happens, you mingle with the characters to try and solve the murder mystery, then the solution is revealed. It is so much fun! At the end of the show, you fill out a card saying who you think the murderer is, how they did it and why. They take the correct answers, draw out a few and give out prizes. The first time Ryan and I went, we solved the mystery AND won a prize. Last night when we went, I solved the mystery (Ryan didn't - ha ha) but we didn't win a prize. It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed it. Tickets are about $40 each, so it is a little pricey, but it is dinner and a show. We really enjoy it and will probably go again sometime. They do shows in Salt Lake and Draper and have a new show every couple of months or so. Fun times.
