I believe the adage "you learn something new every day." I've tried keeping track of one thing I've learned every day to "prove the concept." I've tried a blog dedicated to the topic. I've tried journals. I've tried blogging the list once a week. My latest attempt is to have Friday's blog posts be 7 things I learned throughout the past week. The difference this time is that I am not going to specify what day I learned things on. It gets to tricky to keep track of. I will simply list 7 things as an average of 1 a day. Here is this weeks 7 things:
1) I learned that "peacock" technically just means the male of the species; "peahen" is the female and the species is "peafoul."
2) I learned what a plastic anchor is for and how it works when screwing a hook into the wall to hang something.
3) I learned that my stuffed animals exceed the recommended weight limit for the animal net I have for them. (Caroline and Daisy each have their own net and there is a fourth net down low for the animals that are often cuddled and played with. I think it's time to get rid of some stuffed animals of mine)
4) I learned what Hibachi dining is like: waaaayyyyy awesome!!!
5) I learned that the couch and loveseat that we ordered almost two months ago should get delivered in a week. Sigh. Boy, has it taken forever. Hopefully it won't take any longer than one more week. *cross your fingers*
6) I learned that there is at least 1 baby food that Daisy won't eat: guava (I tasted it; I don't blame her for disliking it.)
7) I learned that they sell fudge at Cabella's.
