Caroline learns about "sorry"

Caroline has recently learned to say the word "sorry" though she still doesn't fully have down when and how to use it. Three examples:

*Ryan accidentally bumped into Caroline and Caroline says "oh, sorry." Sounds like we are raising a polite little Canadian.

*While I was doing dishes, Caroline would run into the kitchen, bump into me on purpose, say "sorry" and run away. Then she'd run back into the kitchen and do it all over again. And again. And again. I'm pretty sure she was bumping into me just so she could say sorry.

*While I was doing dishes (see mom, I do dishes), Caroline comes into the kitchen, tries to push me off the memory foam mat in front of the sink (which she strangely loves to lie on) and says "sorry, sorry, sorry." She makes me laugh...and roll my eyes.

  1. That is pretty friggin' cute! Zoey is big on "no" lately. Often times, she'll say "no" to something even if she really wants it. Just a tad confusing!

  2. Caroline did the exact same thing (about 6 months ago when she was Zoey's age, too!)
