Camping

This weekend Ryan and Lily and I went camping. It was a ton of fun. We were there with Ryan's mom, step-dad, sister and brother-in-law. Lily loved it soooo much. The family at the campsite next to us had a little girl probably younger than two and she loved coming over to say hi to Lily. Lily loved it too. She loves getting attention especially from new friends. Lily liked to bark at everyone that passed by our campsite too. She is very protective of us. We went down to the lake in the morning. I got a nice tan laying out in the sun. A few random spots didn't get enough sun block and got a little burned, but nothing too bad. And by random spots I do mean random. My ankle being one of those random spots. I showed my family how to roast starburst candies. Yum. Thank you to this family for teaching me about roasting Starbursts years earlier.

Lily got so tired from all the running around, walks around the lake, playing, etc that by Saturday afternoon she was completely exhausted. We put a blanket under the picnic table and she just lay there for hours. And even still today she is pretty tired. I'm happy though. Whenever she's tired like this I feel like a good mom because it means she is getting enough attention and play time.
