Jumping on the Band Wagon

Following suit, I too shall give an update on the Baarz family just as Sara and Caryn have.

Ryan has less than 2 months left of school. He spends the day at school and work and spends most evenings doing homework. Weekends are spent doing any homework that he didn't get done during the week and on the giant cumulative project for his capstone class. He actually has a lot less school work this semester than last semester. We like that a lot.

I am staying at home these days as a stay-at-home wife. Life is simple. On Thursday I shall be boarding a couple air crafts that will take me approximately 1300 miles to the city of St. Louis to spend a week and a half with my siblings and parents. It should be a lot of fun. My 13 year old sister is completely redoing her room and I am excited to help her paint and stencil and organize and decorate, etc. My 16 year old brother is receiving his Eagle Scout award and I am glad to be able to be at the court of honor. It is also my brother and sister's spring break so there will be lots of time for board games and wii games and computer games and movies and all sorts of other fun stuff. Ryan will be home with Lily. When I get back from St. Louis, I am contemplating applying for a new job at Michael's or Deseret Book or Build-a-Bear or Hallmark or something like that. Just something simple and part time will do. We'll see what happens.

Lily is such a cute little girlie. Last night at my mother-in-law's house, their dog Harley was being a bit of a snot towards Lily (like always - he's old and doesn't like young, hyper Lily.) There is a dog bed that my mother-in-law got for Harley but he won't use it - EVER. When Lily is over, it's like the guest bed and something Lily will lie in it. Last night Harley would stand on the bed just to make sure Lily couldn't use it. He eventually laid down and napped in it too. But it was so funny to see him just stand there with Lily looking at him all confused-like.

Anyway....that's our update. Have a nice day!!

  1. I don't recommend applying at Michaels. I worked there for 2 weeks, and it was pretty terrible. Plus, they pay badly and don't have a good employee discount.
