Funny Things My Kids Say/Do Wednesday

Is it really Wednesday already? I feel like the week just started. However, Friday can't get here fast enough. Closing on the Provo house is scheduled for Friday and we are very anxious to get that done (and I'm sure our buyer is ready for it too). Boy what a journey it's been. I'll have to blog the whole crazy story sometime.

But for today, I have a funny story about Caroline.

Two days ago I bought some new tights for the girls. They came in a box with 3 pairs. I bought a box for Caroline and a box for Daisy in the appropriate sizes. Caroline was very excited when we bought them. Then, yesterday, when Caroline woke up, she ran into my room to wake me up with her box of tights in toe. "Fly kite. Fly kite," she said. We tried explaining that it wasn't a kite; it was tights. She started crying and asking again to fly a kite. We pulled out the tights, showed them what they were and told her they were special pants. She seemed okay with it once we put a pair on her. It was so cute though that she got in her head that it was a kite and then was all disappointed when it didn't meet her expectations. (Hmm...sound like anyone you know...maybe a little girl that wanted to dip flies in butter?)
