Funny Things Wednesday

It's Wednesday...time for funny things my kids say/do.

So yesterday I gave Caroline a contact case holder for her to play with. She was using it pretending it was make-up. At one point she got her finger pinched in it and I gave her kisses and cuddles to help her feel better.

Fast forward a couple hours. Caroline accidentally pinched Daisy's fingers under a door. Daisy was upset and I gave her kisses and cuddles to help her feel better. Caroline didn't understand why Daisy was sad and why I couldn't pay attention to her. I tried to explain to Caroline that Daisy's fingers hurt and I reminded her of earlier when her fingers hurt and she got cuddles. I tried to get Caroline to relate to Daisy and how she was feeling. And it worked. Or so I thought.

Fast forward a few minutes. I am still cuddling a crying Daisy and Caroline has climbed into her booster chair at the table. She purposely pinches her fingers in her buckle and then starts crying for cuddles. Seriously kid? I wanted you to know why I was cuddling Daisy. Not how you could get the cuddles for yourself.
