Stories From My Childhood: Gilbert Gottfreid

As a child in Primary (basically Sunday School class for children) I remember vividly a lesson on the Holy Ghost. We were talking about who would you want as the voice to guide you. Some ideas were Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc. Basically, a voice that would not lead you astray, a voice that you would be able to identify and trust to know is telling you the right thing. Somehow, I missed the point and thought to myself: I want the voice of Iago in Aladdin (Gilbert Gottfreid) to be the voice of my Holy Spirit because I will always be able to pick that voice out from all the other voices that might be telling me the wrong thing to do. I still think my answer is the best.
