Can't Sleep

So for quite a while now I've had a horribly difficult time falling asleep. I always end up thinking about random stuff and playing games in my head or other random things. And even if my mind isn't wandering I still have a hard time falling asleep. But I think I've finally found something that works. Breathe slowly and count each breath backwards from 100. Visualize the number as you breathe and say it. And if you start thinking about something else, start over. It seems to be really working and that makes me happy. I've heard counting sheep is a bad idea because you have to think about numbers and such and that will keep your brain going instead of helping it shut down. But this backwards counting thing works well because you are counting so slowly and can't think about anything else that you just get bored and fall asleep. It would be like "Hey, watch this paint dry for me and let me know how many breaths it takes for it dry." Anyway...that's my story for today.
