Daisy Belle

Here is an update on our cutie Daisy Belle. She is 16 months old now and super cute!!

She can say about 35 words and seems to add a new one daily. Some of her words include: burger, knuckles, nose, moo, hat, waffle and sss (as in the sound a snake makes). She knows most of what we say to her.

Daisy doesn't like going to bed and will cry during pre-bed cuddles sometimes. If we tell her to stop crying or we'll put her to bed, she stops crying.

Caroline spent the night at grandma's and Daisy was not happy that we "left Caroline behind." As soon as she realized Caroline was not with us, she bawled and bawled. Then the next time we put her in the car, she looked at Caroline's car seat and instantly started crying.

She loves to point out body parts like nose, eyes, mouth and ears.

One of her favorite games is for me to do a google image search for things she knows. For example, I'll search for "bubbles" and a bunch of photos of bubbles pop up on the screen. Daisy loves to look at the bubbles and say "bubbles" over and over again.

She absolutely loves books and won't take no for answer when she brings you a book to read.

Daisy also loves to pretend to sneeze just so you will say "bless you" to her.

"This Little Piggy" is a favorite as well as "Itsy Bitsy Spider."

She can now jump out her her crib, so we have lowered the mattress to the floor so she now sleeps in more of a cage than a crib.

She likes to color, but only for about 30 seconds before she tries to eat the crayons.

If she gives you a high five, she must also give a high five to everyone else around her and then everyone has to get "knuckles" too.

Daisy is 50th percentile for height and 37th percentile for weight and eats more than Caroline most of the time.

If Daisy sees Caroline going to the potty, she will grab at her diaper.

She loves music and will dance along with almost anything (but quite often it is the theme song to Friends.)

We sure love our little Daisy Belle!!
