I found some time to clean up my craft room a little bit, but I still have some organizing to do before I'm happy with my room. But I have a huge list of craft projects I want to do so it is going to be so fun once I get all my supplies organized.
We are waiting around for Caroline to outgrow her newborn clothes and start wearing the 0-3 month size. She's almost 3 months old and is still in newborns. (But I'm sure all you moms out there will tell me that those sizes don't necessarily mean a whole lot - I'm just excited for her to start wearing new outfits that she hasn't worn yet.)
On Saturday, Ryan's mom came down to babysit for us while Ryan and I went out. We had lunch at Olive Garden and did a little shopping at Deseret Industries. We found this adorable, never-out-of-the-box children's shelf for Caroline that has the posts made to look like giant crayons. It's so cute and I'm so happy we bought it. We also got a couple of board books for Caroline as well.
Saturday was also spent with a lot of time working in the bathroom. I decided that it would be time to clean out the shower drain with one of those plastic things you put down the pipe and it pulls out hair and such. Well, the handle to this thing broke off while the entire stick part was in the drain. Feeling awful, I had to enlist Ryan's help. He spends about half an hour in there with me fretting in the other room. He comes out and says "Three things. One, it's not your fault. Two, I can fix it. And three, I'm going to Home Depot." Long story short, McDonald's for dinner and we now have more brushed nickle pieces in our bathroom making it look even nicer.
I feel like there was something else I wanted to put in this post, but I can't remember what it is now. Oh well. If I think of it, I'll add it later.
