Safety in Utah

Found an interesting article today. It stated that Utah is the second "safest state" in the US. This is completely based on number of declared emergencies for each state since 1953. The article is clear in mentioning that previous number of disasters does not necessarily correlate into future ones, but it's still an interesting statistic to note. And since Utah is in on an earthquake fault line that hasn't had a major earthquake in quite some time, I certainly won't bet money on Utah being so safe. But it is a cool little thing about my state. Only state "safer" than Utah?? Rhode Island.

P.S. Tomorrow starts Silly Photo Month! Don't miss it!!
