State Flower, State Bird.....State Gun???

Just heard on the news that Utah legislators are trying to make the Browning Semiautomatic pistol the official state gun making it the first state to have a state gun. Are you serious????? You are spending your time of that?? Aren't there more important things to be discussing in the Utah Senate?? I am HORRIFIED that my representatives are spending there time of a state gun of all things!!!! WHY???? Why does Utah need a state gun when no one else has one? Even if everyone else had one, why is that high on the priority list??? Come on!!!
